Was poking around on youtube and it looks like Max may have been holding out on us! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQz5GVUAQhMI'm looking forward to hearing the details on this one. I for one think it's a great idea. I have several guns chambered in 500 linebaugh so really had no interest in the BFR chambered in the JRH cartridge. Even though its a great round, I just don't want to stock more dies, cases and bullets. If they start chambering for the 500 linebaugh I may very well have to dip a toe in the BFR water.

A utilitarian work horse. You gotta love it. A 500 Linebaugh in an affordable package. I sure wish someone made a better front sight to drop on there.

I couldn't tell, but is that their new "Bisley" style grip frame? I haven't handled one of those yet, how do you guys like it?

It appears to be the BFR Bisley grip. It worked good in that video for Max.

Hard to say, I'm certainly hoping though! But if Magnum Research built a genuine frame made for a maximum caliber my choice would be the 500 S&W-but loaded to 500 maximum pressures, or can load it down. Plus can't beat the available components of the 500 Smith. IMO Quick draw- already planning a budget if the 500 LN becomes reality, imagine you are doing the same!

I see it's a pinned blade but can't tell much else. I look forward to the pics.

I gotta ask... Being that you just put this on display, Max, how close to production is MRI? When can I give them my money in exchange for one of these?
