My Kensight catalog has standard 0.330x65 degreex0.075 dovetail front blades. Heights from 0.150-0.250 with serrated, white dot, and tritium blades. Got to get the micrometer out and measure the gun. We may be almost home! stores.kensight.com/front-1/

Axe Am I missing something here? If yours shot high @25' wouldn't that mean you'd need a taller F-sight? I may be reading this wrong!?? Wouldn't be the first time I bugger something Thanks BigBore44 PS Do you think that the new kensight is gonna be a drop in fit for the most part???

Yikes! Am I brain dead or what! We do need a taller front sight! No Matter... When I load my 250 Keith to about 750 all will be well..

Groo here Got to hold one at the local pusher. Just too big to be a 44 spec. Salesman and I checked the cylinder length. It will take a factory length 44 mag [ just no long nose bullets].

Hey Groo, you saying, in theory the cylinder is long enough, or that a .44mag round fits now ? Details please.

Better look at that forcing cone... This is not a 44 Mag...

Wonder if it could have been a really good 41 mag?

Exactly what I though.. Only thing holding us back is the fact that the 41 Mag is just as much a niche cartridge as the 44 Special...

Mine is showing some promise now, another bout of firelapping (10 rounds) after re cutting the forcing cone. I'll try to post up a pic but I loaded up some 245 grain cast bullets (Accurate 43-250M) sized them to .434 with Carnuba Red lube in Starline cases over 15 grains of 2400 powder. Offhand in the wind (and cold and snow) it didn't do too bad, maybe 2" at 20 yards.
