Looking to have Jack do some touch-ups on .500 JRH BFR. From the chats I've had with him, he sounds very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. He has a great reputation, but what experiences have you fellas had?

I have never heard anything but praise about his work. I plan on sending a 475 Linebaugh BFR soon.

Super shooters, Whit! I remember the top one as a 44 mag, but remind me of the others. They're all stunning beauties, but that bottom shooter makes one drool...

Doug, the top one is indeed a .44 Mag -- six-shot oversized cylinder. The second one is a .45 Colt with a six-shot oversized cylinder, and the bottom one is a .500 JRH. Thanks!

max, I don't really ever hear of a oversized for a .44 mag, or a 5 shot .44 for that matter. have you hot rodded the oversize 6 shot?

The best thing about it is its capacity for really long bullets. Not only that, but the fact that the cylinder completely fills the window is really sexy to me!

I really like to see the frame window completely filled by the cylinder as well. have you tried the 405 beartooth bullets in it?
