Hamilton does the #5 base pin latch as well as Alan. I badgered him for over a year when he was doing my #5 41 on the OM Ruger and he finally threw out a number and I said okay. It was when he decided to offer #5 revolvers on Rugers with the latch as an upgrade option. He is doing a USFA lightweight with the #5 basepin latch right now as well.

Update on the gun I referred to earlier in this thread. Got my 45 Colt Ruger back from JRH last week, and managed to shoot it this past weekend. I am well pleased with performance, quick turnaround time, and fair pricing.
As it came from the factory, my revolver had never been much of a shooter. It patterned like a scatter gun.
Jack took a 44 caliber Ruger cylinder and line bored it to 45 Colt to replace my guns original cylinder. Now it shoots far better than I would have ever expected. It turned in some impressive (for me) groups with a 255 grain/1000 fps load.
I gave up on posting a pic from my cell. Honestly, it looks just like any other Ruger 5.5 inch stainless Bisley... But shoots a heck of a lot better. So I would say you should have no worries at all about using JRH Advanced Gunsmithing.
