It was mentioned before the Linebaugh does not return old parts. This was copied directly from his website:
"Old parts: All unused parts are customers' property. They will be returned to the customer upon his request (mark yes or no on order blank). They will not fit back into your new conversion. If customer does not want the parts returned they will become the property of LCS."

Not trying to rub salt in old wounds or bring a crappy discussion back to life. Just adding to the previous discussion about which gunsmiths return old parts. Correcting ERRONEOUS information that was posted, for future reference. For anyone else that reads this discussion looking for valid information. Just something I found while looking at John and Dustin's guns.

Parts are worth money to someone. If the gunsmith does not give some consideration for keeping the parts they should be returned.
I have no experience in selling Ruger parts but take offs from my Smiths and Colts have all sold and reduced project cots.
