Finally got around to checking out the X-Calibers bullets I load in my 32-20s. They are 120 grn and I am staying with the heavier bullets in mine. They are sized. 314", same as the throats in my guns. The nose fits in the cylinder like the bullet was designed for the Single Seven gun. Accuracy is great so far, but more testing to be done. At $68 per 1000 I am not likely to spend my time casting, sizing or lubing bullets. [br Very intrigiung. Just so I make sure I understand, you're loading these bullets in the new Single Seven? If so what does your loaded OAL come to? Have you shot these on paper yet? Thanks, John

Yes, I am loading in the Single Seven. O.A.L. is 1.494" but bullets could be loaded a bit deeper. These fit my guns with .018" clearance on the cylinder.
Have shot on paper and looks promising. Havent worked different powder/primer combos to see which provides best results or chronographed any loads yet.

@encore64 Thanks for the info. I'll give them a try! I've got a load of HS6, H110 and Unique that seem all likely candidates for these bullets. I bet a reasonably heavy load of HS6 will be just the ticket.

I am narrowing it down to HS6, Unique and Longshot. So we arent far apart. Please share your results.
I sent my Ruger Hawkeye 32 H&R cylinder to Bowen today. He is going to deepen the chambers to accept the 327 Federal round.
Will provide a test platform for the longer nosed bullets in the future.
