Ruger will fit the grips to the gripframe for free, I sent them two of the snubby 44 mags at different times and was very happy with the results. Not to mention you get it back I'm a proper shipper!!

The last Ruger I sent back for repairs came home in Better than new ,perfect, condition. That said, it cost me $107 to ship it UPS. Now if you can get Ruger to put out a call tag it would be worth it for only grip fit. But if you have to pay to ship, spend the money on a set of custom grips instead.

Encore64 where did you get the fiber optic sights I would like to get some for my 7 1/2 when it comes in. I looked at some on Rugers site are those the ones you got ? No, this one is HiVIZ (Part #HRB2007). I have found the best place to get them is Ebay. Found these for $28 ppd, so ordered two. The second one is anxiously awaiting my 7 1/2" as well. They come with 6 or 7 fiber optic bars in various colors and changing them is a breeze. My eyes made 50 this year, and while holding up well, these help a lot. Especially good for me with the V-Notch rear sight blade installed.

Got a 4 5/8" in hand this morning from my LGS. $509 before tax and the gun looks good! BC looks small and finish seems on-par with other a Ruger SA's purchased recently.

Picked up a 5.5" today. Fit and finish excellent. Fired cartridge date is 9/25/14. Joins my Blackhawk in 327, USFA 327/32 WCF convertible and Buckeye 32 H&R rechambered to 327.

...and FWIW, the barrel/cylinder gap is a snug .002.

...and FWIW, the barrel/cylinder gap is a snug .002. Mine was .0025 when I got home from my LGS. The cylinder was very tight to get in and out. I polished a bit on the front of the cylinder to smooth out the machine marks. The cylinder is still very tight, with no noticeable movement. I can now fit a .0015" feeler thru it, but as you say a .002" will fit if you work hard enough. I am very satisfied with mine and hope the 7 1/2" is similar. Glad to hear your experience is as good as mine.

Hello all, I've been lurking for a few months and finally joined. I got my Ruger Single Seven 5.5" yesterday and got a chance to shoot it today. The only ammo I had was Speer 100 grain GDHP so I put 20 rounds through it. It shot great considering I was the one pulling the trigger lol. It feels great in the hand and has a nice amount of power too. I can already tell its going to be one of my favorite guns.

My Single-Seven in 7-1/2" arrived friday evening. I had to wait until Saturday to get it. Broke it in this evening. Looks promising. I will say that the ammo I had loaded with the 32 Sixgun Sledgehammer will not fit. Too long. Drats!

I was just advised on Friday that my 4 5/8" and my two (2) 7 1/2" revolvers are all being shipped by Lipsey's now to my LGS. I can't wait to see what they look like. Oh and what it is worth, my 5 1/2" revolver came in earlier and after the 10 day waiting I am about to pick it up but I have already seen it and it looks great..... No problems noted!!!
