I've never seen a Linebaugh from John cleaned off on the left side of the frame like that one is.

Be careful saying what you want around this crowd.

If I were you I'd be a badass and just carry it in my hand all the time.

Here is a 327 Bearcat from John's site. I don't believe he does the CCH on the Bearcat 327 anymore due to it making the loading gate too brittle.

His pictures are terrible for a $4k gun.

Thanks for weighing in here Bobby. Pretty doesn't matter if it won't shoot.

I rented a hunters cabin from a man in Tule Lake, CA in the early 90's while I was on a project. He had about 400 prewar Winchesters, predominately lever actions, predominately NIB. It was just an investment in "art" to him. He wasn't much of a shooter. He had a concrete block building out back disguised as an old barn. Humidity is single digit in that part of the world most days.

Those saddle horns in the original picture are enormous. To rope and then dally off on that would be like dallying off on a fence post.

I have seen a couple of blue ones that John has built. They are beautiful little guns. I would like to carry one but I don't like that little grip for shooting much.

That's Clements bead blast, it pretty durable. A Scotch pad and some elbow grease will make it as shiny as you like.

I'm with you Tim on that one. And Greg you should be banned from this site for that.

It's a beautiful gun but I will never understand guns like that that have never seen the field. We can all imagine how great this gun would handle.
Guns are for shooting....

Not too many OM 10mm's around.
I'll be surprised if Joe can hit anything with it.

I was kinda thinking a long barrel (7 1/2") and scoped for hunting. I have a 5 1/2" that John L. built.
