It is such a rare configuration of TLA that I have no idea what the sight gap and top groove look like.

I sure would like to see what that top strap looks like.... I had that same thought, Greg.

I only shoot the hot stuff for hunting and practice for that. The rest of the time I rarely shoot anything over a thousand feet per second. Now some of the bullets are pretty big but they are slow.

I'm working in west Texas and the heat is the life. Drink a lot of water and keep fresh shirts and socks in the truck. A sweaty dirty shirt late in the day is terrible for the trip home. I'm too old for cold if I can help it. I've worked winters of Ohio, Alaska, North Dakota, and Wyoming. I like to stay south and just so you know, north of I-40 is tundra.

Just an update... Both halves of this gun arrive in Oklahoma today. Even though it's the wrong color for Tim and his first FA, I don't think it will be his last Freedom Arms.

I'm having the same problems. Only a dream to have to use the filters when I search for Bowen! Greg don't bother with that Bowen search. If there is anything worth looking at I'll let you know... after I decide against it, and let Tim know and Robb and...

Build quality is obvious but what about function with a variety of bullet lengths and cycling effort to make one of these tight fitted custom lever actions run.

Top gun is a Harton 414 SM and the bottom gun is a FA 97 in 41 magnum.

Seven shots of 327 fit in a single six, 8 shots of 327 in that Harton OM, and 8 shots of 357 in a redhawk, I see no issues fitting 7 357s in a Blackhawk cylinder.
