Here's another snubbie pic One of these I don't have anymore though. I traded in the 2.5" SP-101 .357. The 3" SP-101 is a .327 Federal. The first S&W is a 640-1 and the second is a 60-9. The 60-9 is NIB. The 640-1 has a forged trigger which makes it a little around the early 90's timeframe. I've since added a nice 60-7 and another carry worthy 640-1. I'll have to bring them all out for a pic one day. Also I have this It's just a 629-6 Deluxe but I never would have bought it except I got to shoot it first. Actually I talked my brother into buying it because it was such a nice gun, it was lightly used and I'm a prelock snob. I've wanted a 629-4 in the worst way and I didn't want to have the dash 6 if I was eventually going to get one. Well we took it and shot it that day. I was drilling the bullseye at 15 yards with full house loads. No sight adjustment, no getting used to the gun, just shot perfect right off the bat. He couldn't shoot it worth a damn though so a few weeks later he sold it to me. It was practically a new gun without the new price tag.

Here's a very snubbed snubby I built on a Rossi M68- surprisingly shootable. Unfortunately is has developed a mechanical issue I need to sort out- Linda got me this one for my birthday this year- a Webley Model 83 Royal Irish Constabulary in .450 Adams- ...and one of my favorites- my first Remington 'Bulldog' conversion, 'The Pug.'

As Tinkers' pics show men have always needed a device that was handy, powerful and comforting to own and use when needed. Love those old Irish bulldogs. They wouldn't shoot Brits with them, no guns for the Bobbys but you could blast those Irishmen all day long with 45s. I digress, here is my favorite small 357. Meprolight night sight and POI/POA are the same.

This little vest pocket S&W was modified long, long ago... barrel renickeled & all in the same condition, after the barrel was shortened... shows the need for a pocket gun even long ago... 32 S&W ( center fire ) single action top break probably made a formidable weapon back in the late 1800's

a couple more older ones... Factory Iver Johnson "bicycle gun" in 32 S&W ( note the "modern style" trigger safety ) Factory Hopkins & Allan Safety Police snubbie in 32 S&W... this one has a conceiled hammer ( on the Safety Police model, the hammer actually moves up & down when the trigger is pulled, so it can't strike the cartridge, until the trigger is pulled ) Custom Colt Pocket replica in 32 S&W

Since we're trotting out the .32s, this is a custom S&W .32 Double Action (4th Model) that saw pocket-drop use in my workshop... bagged a big Norway Rat in the backyard at 15 yards double-action!

As promised here is my 60-7. These were barrel marked 38 special but they were the first guns confirmed by S&W as being able to handle 38sp+P.
