This one has alway made my heart go pitterpatter.... I'll have it's blue brother next year. I bet Stan still hasn't found my initials that I scratched into that gun when it was in the shop being built I have to agree with Boge, if any man says he doesn't drool over the collection housed down in TX, he's lying to you My initials are floating around on one these guns on this thread, too

Modesty? Not really. It is what is it is. People mentioned it, I posted a picture of it. One most certainly can have just about anything they desire built nowadays. That I had a #5 built from scratch simply shows my admiriation for the man and the original sixgun itself. It is a marvel.

Mike that gun is part, OK a big part of the inspiration of my #5 that Harton is building for me and should be done in the near future. Mine is different from Fermin's of course, my tastes but it that gun was certainly a driving force in it.
I had the honor of shooting it 5 years ago but he wouldnt let me sticky finger it last month. Bastard!

I'm a simpleton. Have a couple of family tied Sixguns passed down through the family(Abilene and Flat Top), and have my go to plain Jane Super Blackhawk. I am having fun with the new Bearcat. I'm happy. Still, Brian Pearce's recreation of Elmer's No. 5 gets me a little weak in the knees whenever I see it.
