Is it a sin to covet thy neighbor's gun??? Not the definition "to desire wrongfully," but "to wish for, especially eagerly."
I mentioned this in a pm I sent another forum member, and it gave me an idea for a thread that could be kind of fun. Whose gun or guns do you covet the most? We have seen a few picture threads of late, so should be some recent food for thought--but maybe hard to pic a favorite or few.
And as sinful as it is, I'll start: Robb's two brass bisleys, a 475 Linebaugh and 45 octagon Gallagher if I recall correctly. Both so beautiful in their execution--I simply love Linebaugh built guns, especially w/barrel bands, and the combo of CCH frame and octagon barrel is the perfect combination.
Close seconds would be Aggies' 475 stainless Clements octagon gun and Boge's little Dustin Linebaugh sheriff bigbore.
Ok, thanks fellas, I feel better after my confession.

Well, if I could have any other forum member's gun, and if I were restricted to just one, I'd have to say it would be Bogue's blue .500. Now that is one sweet revolver...

Let's see. I guess I would have to go to Axe's house and maybe have one of each caliber. As he collects in sets of 3 this would still leave him with plenty to shoot. I figure that one of each caliber from his collection would give me about a face cord of six shooters.

Tough question. That cased, engraved, 45 Colt TLA that was shown here recently comes to mind!

Boges 500, his single six 32 mag and Sixshots 480. If I had those three I would be happy....until something else caught my eye.

Now wait a minute! That "Pair and Spare" is JT's rule... Not mine.. Of course I do like it! Covet? Lots of just really fine hardware well deserving of a little coveting has been posted here. Based on preferences cultivated by what I've personally seen and held there is no real thought required here... Those two octagon barreled long cylinder Clements guns that the Dawgs is holding are at the top of my list.

Do not remember who's stable it is in, but I NEED the SA with the exceptional fluer de lix (spelling?) checkered exhibition grade walnut grips that has been posted numerous times.

Boge's blued .500 Bisley Vaquero is at the top of my list. As well as 2 dogs' pair of Clements Bisleys with the long cylinders, long ejectors and octagon barrels.
