years ago, when I first saw John Taffin's gallery of Sixguns... I was a bit covetous... It instilled in me a strong desire to become successful enough to be able to justify such guns for myself. I have done so, and feel blessed that it has come to pass.

Well, I feel slighted now... I figured the Dawgs would come post some pictures for me. Guess I'll do it myself tonight!

Do not remember who's stable it is in, but I NEED the SA with the exceptional fluer de lix (spelling?) checkered exhibition grade walnut grips that has been posted numerous times. I think I know the gun you're talking about and it's at the top of my list too. Owned by majorKap IIRC. Absolutely one of the most stunning pieces of shooting art I've ever seen and definitely my favorite on this forum. In fact, majorKap has several that just boggle my mind, but then so do Lee, 2Dogs, Boge, Axe and a dozen of the rest of you. WildWills recent stainless Bowen .500 acquisition is amazing! One that we haven't seen on here (or at least not in a long while) but is definitely one of my favorites is our own JT's Jim Riggs engraved, nickeled Colt Army that graces the cover (??) of Single Action Sixguns (again, forgive me if my memory isn't perfect). Normally, engraved tools are just so-so in my book, but that one is absolutely masterful. The fact that it reminds me of the cherished cap guns of my youth only adds to the mystique!

I defy any man on this Board to gaze upon Mike Hutyra's collection and not break a Commandment!
And Cubrock's TLA Pale Rider.........hopefully it will be mine someday.....
Also, Boxhead's drift-sighted Harton 44 Special makes my dobber quiver!
(good to see some of my modest collection mentioned here...)

I bet Stan still hasn't found my initials that I scratched into that gun when it was in the shop being built I have to agree with Boge, if any man says he doesn't drool over the collection housed down in TX, he's lying to you

Boge I would have to say you have more than a "modest collection".
I would love to see a pic of Boxheads 44 again.

Hello, my name is Wade, and I am a sinner for I do covet my neighbors guns. I don't recall seeing any customs on here that I wouldn't be proud to own. I'm also jealous of Lee Martins ability to create a custom in is own shop. But I think that if I could transport anyones collection into my grubby hands it would have to be Robb Barnes. His taste in handguns just seems spot on.

I confess that I covet Axehandle's Linebaugh 475 with the sheep horn grips with the brass case heads inlet into them. Serious gun envy, green to the core! Forgive me father for I have gun-sinned.

If to covet another's gun is a sin, is it not also a sin to feel pride when one of your own is coveted. If so, I am a double-sinner.
