I had similar rules on my old forum site that I started in 1997 but closed a couple of years ago. If you want to see how folks reacted to my forum rules there are plenty online about it. I had detractors that referred to me as an internet nazi and far worse but I also had a very loyal base group of like-minded collectors. We didn't always agree and very often disagreed but we did it with respect. Your site, call them the way you see them. With the tongue-in-cheek mode button firmly pressed... I have it from a semi-reliable source, that if you don't take Lee's parking spot, there is some wiggle room. But truly , this place is special and to the best of my ability I try not to step in it, and track it in here.

You need a third party picture hosting site like Postimage etc. to add pictures.

Thanks Lee. I concur wholeheartedly. As a mod on another forum I find it sad and disgusting to have to step in at times between a few full grown men who act like a bunch of 12 year old girls. I find this board a very informative and refreshing place and like most others, try to contribute what I can. Don't you think that's kind of insulting to 12 year old girls?  Lee, not that you need a pat on the back from me, but good for you. I've been popping in and out here for a long time. Frist under another name that I lost when my email server went belly up and I'm not clever enough to change email and keep the same name and just dropping by to see what's what without logging in. I have never seen a more helpful or friendly site. God Bless. |

I invite participants on Singleactions to consider what it takes to sit at Bill Ruger’s dinner table. And to then consider the dignity of the occasion. I am at least three generations removed from John Moses Browning, and would consider an invite to his table in the same light. Sharpshooting on the Firing Line begins with sharpshooting in the mind.
