I have looked and looked... Looks like I didn't take a single picture of my '85 VMAX... I do still have moving pictures in my head.. Tach flipping back and forth like a windshield wiper, white dashes in the center of the road becoming a solid line.. Going so fast while seeming so slow. Makes me smile.  |

Well I still have my V65,not the same I know but still plenty quick..on and then there was my FJR and the rides on the Super BlackBird and the Hyabusa....

Had to swear off the killers... I want the fastest and quickest but have proven that I can't be trusted with them. The 1800 VTX delivers 100 horsepower the way I need it... While I'm a firm believer that if you die doing what thrills your heart all is well, the wife and daughter would like for me to be around for my 60th birthday next year..

That is THE bike Doghawg only mine was the Kawasaki red and the 1200 Zrx. Years ago I had a GpZ750 and I've loved the K sport bikes ever since. Just can't seem to control the right wrist enough to stay out of trouble.

When I was young and still "cruizin the boulevard" the baddest thing on the street was a modified KZ 1000 Eddie Lawson Replica.....only time I saw it get beat was an out of town guy brought in an 85 V-Max,it was basically a drag bike minus slick and wheelie bar, had been switched to chain drive dont know what all he did to it but I have heard big blocks that didnt lope at idle like it did.
