Here's my 1953 K-22 Combat Masterpiece: I cannot imagine a nicer shooting revolver, except for my 6" version, which balances just a touch better, but the action on this one is nicer. I'll add pictures of my other K-22 and my kit guns this weekend, if the boys don't drive me to drink while Mom is away -- Brian

JT Ammons, I've got one of those little RG 22 revolvers too, except mine has a nickel frame. I bought it at a gunshow from a retired cop for $25.00. He said he got it from a guy on a domestic violence call. He pulled up to the house, the guy came out and popped a few shots into the windshield of his cruiser. I guess the story was worth the money. My youngest daughter has had her eye on it ever since I showed it to her. She ignores the good guns and picks that one up to inspect and hold. I've tried to shoot mine a couple times and it's an iffy proposition for sure. I wouldn't be dumb enough to take on a cop car with it, that's for sure. That's somewhat akin to tackling a cape buff with an RG in 38 Special in my book. My rimfires... (Hope this works...) Mark II Government, Sig Mosquito, my late great grandmother's old RG10, Single Six, Taurus 94.

I have only one .22LR-handgun. It is Anschutz Exemplar. I use it with 1,5-4x handgunscope with high rigns, so I can to use iron sights too.

Oh, that little 21A helped me crack a grin, I had one and really liked it as a neat little kit gun. Stories involving that pistol might never be repeated aloud, on general principle But I traded it toward my first N-frame, and ended getting a pre-34 out of it too, so I felt like I did well. Little did I know what a slippery slope I was stepping onto! I understand that they are quite desirable in CA and other restrictive states. -- Brian
