Out of the box the general concensus is that Single Six Accuracy is a crap shoot... There are a couple of short paths to better Single Six accuracy. People speak highly of Paco's accurizer..... David Clements has an accurizing trick he applies to the Single Sixes too.... After that it is custom barrels and cylinders.

The stainless in my pic is decently accurate with the .22 LR cylinder. It won't out group the Mark II or the Taurus, but it's not bad at all.
Now, with the .22 mag cylinder it is much more accurate, as expected.

I have started to carry one of the NAA 22 Mag pocket guns at work, like it so far, but then again I haven't shot it yet, but it disappears in a shirt pocket with the snal fastened down and thye tell me a 22Mag hollowpoint ballistically is very similliar to the 25 ACP that lives in my back pocket under my Skoal can Like I said, I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but that will change this afternoon (i have only had it for a couple days) got it real cheap because somebod y came into the shop trying to sell it to us and the boss didn't want it so I made him a low ball offer I didn't think he would take because I kinda felt sorry for him and he bit

I wonder if one could improve the accuracy of the single-six by reaming the cylinder mouths and cutting an 11 degree chamfer in the forcing cone? I think I've read this somewhere. Some people say you have to shoot a few hundred rounds of copper jacketed .22 magnum to smooth the rifling. Handling mine it feels ok in the hand and the sights come up ok. I need to get back to range...

Shooting report, that NAA shoots better tha nI can shoot it. It kind of disapears in the hand, but it's short, tiny and conceals extremely well, I was shooting it out of the watch pocket of my jeans( haven't got around ot making a holster for it yet) and it was a bit of a pain to draw, also have to be incredibly careful of the barrel cylinder gap as it's real easy to have part of hand real close to it because it's so small

nobearsyet, that's good to know. I was surprised at the recoil those little guns have. It didn't bother me ,but the gun would always rotate in my hand when I shot it. I made grips for my little gun ,as the factory grips were just too tiny for me.

Mine are too, but they're staying for shirt pocket concealability reasons

Lee Martin,I see you found a way around the single-six's failings.

Actually, I bought the gun used and it only came with the 22 Magnum cylinder. Too expensive to shoot Mag so I made my own cylinder and fit a piece of Shilen tube. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Are you getting good accuracy from it?

Accuracy has been really good, even with cheapo 22. I still need to put some better ammunition through it. -Lee www.singleactions.com
