derekr,
Thanks for the heads up about the dual cylinder sale! Just ordered a 7 1/2 incher in .44 Special/44-40! Got it on sale and beat the price increase too - yeah, that's the ticket! I wonder what the delivery time is?

Don't forget to post pics and a range report! Now you can shoot the .44 special with smokeless and the 44/40 with black. The best of all worlds.....

Frank V,
I'm working with Steve Baldwin on a Mid Range Tang Sight and Globe Front. It's going to be rough driving those fifteen miles to his shop for the install.
I had no clue he lived right here in Oklahoma! D'Oh!

38 WCF,
I'm guessing it's a 38 WCF? Gorgeous looking sixgun, can't wait until mine arrives...

My little local gun store, thats upstairs over the back of the grocers, has a pile of them. Various finishes and barrels lengths, though mostly short. All .45's. Seem to be a price point beyond Rugers. Roughly, how do they compare ? Do they make same/same in .44spec ? That new .44spec Vaquero has my eye.. steve b ???Steveb do you know if they have any of the 2 or3 inch bbl ? sorry I can not remember the name or model that usfa created it had a bisley grip and was snub nosed. They discontinued the model at the end of 2010. If you can think of it let me know.

I bought a pair of USFA .44 Specials fro a guy who was retiring from Cowboy Shooting last summer. I paid a bit extra for them as they had been worked over by Doug Turnbull. I have a Cimarron Bisley in .44 Spl., and a Beretta Stampede in .45 Colt. I have to say that USFA work is head and shoulders better than any Colt SAA I have ever seen. And, I love the .44 Spl. If I could figure out how to insert a photo, I would post them.

My 4 3/4" bbl. 44 Special. Fit and finish are perfection. The only beef I have with it is with any 240-250 gr. load it shoots several inches high at 25 yards. Granted I don't push it very hard, perhaps if loaded a bit heavier the group would print lower. Anyway I bought a 215 gr. GC mold and with that slug and 13 gr. 2400 it hits exactly where it should. It is a keeper for certaim. Tom Black

Tom, that gun is simply beautiful. Congratulations, & thanks for sharing with us. I have heard USFA is very good about regulating the sights, is yours right on for windage? Thanks Frank
