If you could take one single action that you currently own with you into the next life which would it be?

My .44 Special USFA Flattop Target with 4 &5/8" barrel. If it was my only resolver it would get one piece ivory grips and possibly be engraved as well.
I would be content, the more so if I had a matching barrel length Ruger Single Six with the drift adjustable rear sight.

Incredible handguns fellas. Mine would have to be this 1961 Ruger Flat Top 44....belonged to my Uncle John. Next to his Dad, he was the best man I ever knew, and I still get the same wonder when I handle it now as I did when I was 10, because it was his. Sorry for the funny picture...playing around with the camera many moons ago.

Not my most packable, practical, best shootn, or even the best looking. But its overkill, one of a kind and makes me smile every time its fired!

I have a number of fine single actions but it must be the .44 Lipsey Special 5½". It's just about everything a single action .44 Special should be: Of course, it needs some good leather: Along with that fine revolver, it needs excellent ammo (MiHec H&G #503 Hollow Point mould): YMMV Dale53

While it would be hard not to select one of my FAs or even a NM BH custom I think that I'd grab a 5.5 inch OM SBH and never look back.. Plenty of power and simple inards that you can work on..
