In Brian Pearce's latest video he talks about the original Blackhawk in .357 magnum and mentions a new model is coming out. Anyone have any insight as to what this is?

In a previous post here, a John Taffin commemorative Bisley Flattop Convertible was mentioned as being officially annouced and/or delivered before the end of the year. Hence, Mr. Taffin's response. If I'm not mistaken, this would be the first time such a configuration was offered by Ruger... a truly PPP.

Even if only a one word response, it’s good to hear from you Mr. Taffin

At the end of the video he mentions a new caliber being introduced in the mid frame flattop guns, I guess we’ll see! My guess is 10mm and highly doubt a 38/40 conversion cylinder.

The 41 magnum would be welcome, even with the shorter cylinder.

I'd settle for the Flattops to be built in Bisley Style in 357 Magnum and 45 Colt. They did the 44 Special, so hopefully this will come.

My understanding from watching the video is that it will be a vaquero. I’m guessing 10mm/38-40 due to the ever rising popularity of the 10mm Auto. A couple of friends had similar thoughts.

I'd like the chance to meet him and shake his hand. I've read enough of his work that it would be akin to meeting an old friend. Randy

I'm hoping for a flattop 41mag. But knowing the new Ruger it's going to be something less, like the 10mm.
