Medium frame then my vote is 32-20!

Imagine if Ruger has already gone ahead with the 30 Super Carry and then they see this 4+ page thread with not a single mention of the round and start questioning their marketing team.
But a 30 Super Carry convertible with a 327 cylinder .... maybe make it a 7 shot on a mid frame flat top. That would be ok with me since we can have the Super Carry cylinder rechambered and make it a 3 or 4 cylinder gun.
A 5 shot 480 Special could be a reasonable factory offering but I can't imagine that's at all feasible. Doubt that even using Carpenter steel they'd do a 480 mid frame, though of course it is possible.

If they were going to do the 30 Super Carry it would be on the Wrangler or Single Six (seven) Id guess, Ruger seems to have given up on the 480 because no one is making factory ammo for it. Most buyers shoot factory ammo and if it isnt readily available at at least somewhat reasonable cost wise I can see why would see this as a real deterrent. I'd love a 50GI but I think the 480 has better odds of being put into production, a 38/40 with an extra 10mm cylinder would be the bees knees and a reasonable possibility I think... Who knows perhaps they contracted with Hornady to make an entirely new cartridge for us. They seem to keep reinventing the wheel...

As the current owner of two 38-40 consuming weapons, and a closet fan of the 10 mm 1911, I can only pray.

I've been an avid 10mm shooter since 1994 (long before the interwebs made the 10mm 'cool again') and would be very interested in a 5.5" bisley medium frame flat top in 10mm. I've had a 6.5" Smith 610 for almost as long, and would like to have a single action so chambered.
Maybe the new mystery Ruger will be chambered in 45 SW Schofield (though probably not due to limited Schofield factory ammo). That'd be handy for the same reasons as a 45 Colt chambered FA97 with Schofield compatible rim recesses.

I am simply glad that the local large gun store has finally started receiving new products from among Ruger’s single-action revolver models; several Flat Tops and Super Blackhawks. The asking prices for pre-owned Ruger single actions has seemingly moderated, just a bit, as a result. With age catching up with my hands, I am still kicking myself for not buying an assortment of the several Single Six offerings in .32 H&R, especially the Bisley and the “Vaquerito,” back when they were being offered. (I buy a new .32 H&R-chambered 4” SP101, a DA sixgun.)

Welcome to the club! All too often the offerings that interest me, come when I have no $$$$. Then when I do, they aren't around, even used. I keep hoping I'll reach that stage where I don't NEED anything new, lol!

Has there been any news on this? I'm putting off a purchase until I see what is released here.

Has there been any news on this? I'm putting off a purchase until I see what is released here. I’ve been wondering the same. Brian Pearce, in his Pearce Brothers video on old model Blackhawks, announced that two limited production midframes would be announced on their Youtube channel in about a month. It has now been over a month, so I guess the announcement should be quite soon.
