My 10k showed up today and im tempted to get some more since they offered 10% off my next order. Im flush with small primers so i should probably leave them for the guys that really need them.

Shot some of these Servicios primers over the chronograph today. Load was a 38-44 or 38 special +p+ level. 6 grains unique with 170 grain Keith style bullet in starline 38 special +p brass. 6 shots with CCI primers averaged 1070 fps and 35 fps extreme spread . 6 shots with Servicios primers averaged 1090 fps and 30 fps extreme spread. Accurately was about the same as well. Gun was a ruger flat top anniversary model.

I've heard enough and finally ordered 5k of the Argy primers from Norma USA. Sadly not as good a deal as some I have taken advantage of (wolf primers at $18/k was pretty sweet) in the past, but $53 per k shipped is about the best I have seen in a few years so why not. And, if you were to purchase anywhere else shipping would be around $30 and with Norma its free.
Great deal? Well, maybe considering whats going on in the world.

Wolf primers at $18k was close to 20 years ago. I bought a new f250 4x4 ext cab xlt for $26k in 2006. Same pickup today is 3 times that. NOTHING lasts forever. Welcome to Keynesian economics.

A buddy of mine scored BIG TIME at our local Cabelas. He happened to be walking by as an employee was putting 4 bricks of Winchester large rifle primers out. My friend bought them all as the employee said "that's the first we've seen in 3 years". I got two bricks coming to me at $90 each. Yeehaw!!

It breaks my heart to see folks paying THAT kind of money for primers. We loaded up on (ordered) Win. primers from Black Hills Shooter's Supply in 2018 for an average price of $135/5K (regardless of size) shipped to our door. Haven't had to buy any since, and we shoot a pretty fair amount every year. Just finished loading 2K .32 H&R Mag with 125gr Keith SWCs in anticipation of getting our 3.5" Single Six back from Ronnie Wells. That brought our stock of WSPs down to just over 20K, so we are still good, at least for a while. We don't even have a "local" Cabela's BTW, just two small gun shops (each about 25 miles away) and their primers are priced at $110/brick and up.
