I broke down and got 10k coming. Anybody have decent luck with slower powders like h110 and standard primers? They work well in 32 mag. Probably not much bigger than that. I have a ton of wc820 and ww297. From there i go to SW heavy pistol and the next slowest is VV340. I would sure love to have a big stash of 2400.

I have used these primers with AA#9 in 357 mag at maximum load data with perfect results, clean cases, no unburned powder, they're good primers, I haven't used them with H110 they should work well with your SW heavy pistol

Just loaded up a couple of hundred 38 specials with HP-38 and the Servicios primers, they fed through my hornady ap better than the Fiocchi primers. Tomorrow I will try them over the chronograph compared to cci sp primers.

I've been looking for H4198 for a very long time. I'm good on pistol powders, but I need the H4198 for other stuff.

I only have one pound of Universal left and it's not available anywhere I have found. It and Heavy Pistol/#9 are my most used powders.
I have a few jugs of H110, but am short on mag primers. Hunting season is over, so there's no need for the max loads now anyway.
I'm eventually going to get around to trying some other powders in the 45C and 357mag. I've got power pistol and titegroup for midrange. I want to try some of the International Clays I have for standard loads for the Uberties and charter guns.

good luck finding 2400, been looking for over a year up here and none to be found Powder Valley has 2400 in stock, if you're willing to pay $50 per pound, with hazmat fee, it's not worth it to me

Went to the club and ran a couple hundred 9mm reloads with the primers at Norma's. Came home and ordered another 5000. They seem good to go.
