Anybody have a s&w barrel on a vaquero? I saw one that David Clements did, but cannot find the pics.

Who is currently installing s&w ribbed barrels onto Ruger frames? I know of three smiths who do it. Are there others? I have another 6" s&w mod25 barrel that may find its way to a gun.

Hamilton Bowen- builds his own, will he still install factory barrels?
I would like to see more smiths show off their abilities. They have to be out there.

As far as I know, Hamilton will still install factory S&W barrels but you have to use older barrels with the tapered half under lug. |

Sadly, it's getting to be a lost art.....
Not many new sixgun'smiths coming down the pipeline.

Jack Huntington called yesterday. My rebored Anaconda barrel is ready for installation on a new model flattop frame. We decided to go with the longer length. Should be about 6" with full length erh. Cant wait.  |

Hard to see in that photo but it looks like he's doing a nice sculpted topstrap/barrel transition on it.

Darn. i was going to start loading this Thread up with a bunch of different size , Caliber, And length SW copy barrels im making.
Guess ill just start my own. hahaha.
