Here's a couple of less common woods I experimented with. Eucalyptus.  Granadillo.  Leopardwood/lacewood.  Manzanita.  And of course some cool Mesquite.  |

Man you guys are a lot more observant than I expected. That’s a special project that’s been over 8 years in the works. All I can say for now guys, sorryđŸ˜ˆ When I talked to Dustin 8 years ago about sending in a gun he mentioned he was making such a barrel. I was curious why we'd never seen nor heard of it otherwise. My gun, too, is "still in the works" if in fact there is any work being done. |

He is actually working on guns around haying season and taking care of family issues with his dads passing. I have h ad a chance to handle to gun and the detail he is putting in more than justifies the handle of a Quest gun. It will have one feature that Dustin had not thought had been done before but in fact a gun with that feature is shown in Bowens book. The gun was built by Robert Snapp. You will have to look it up to read about it!  |
