Just ordered a #9 for my 5 inch half lug Gp100. Seems like it should work well with the brass bead front.

Does the white line on the square white outline sight “run off” the top edge of the blade? Hard to tell in the pics. They dont at this moment but you are the second person to ask that question so maybe i need to add the option.

Got my 2 #3s in the mail yesterday. Took longer to locate the proper screwdriver for the Ruger windage screw than it did to install the sight blade. Took just a bit of fiddling around to get it to slide into the sight body with the spring, but if I can do it anyone can. The fit of the blade contour to the rear of the factory sight boss is amazingly precise; quite the piece of engineering Ronnie! Will go up to the bench to shoot the #1 .32H&R SS this afternoon. Have you thought about offering a "wide" notch version of the #3? On my #1- 4 5/8"SS, with Fermin's bead front, there isn't a lot of light on either side of the front sight. The #3's notch measures .1135", as best I can tell. I opened the factory blades on two of my 4 4/8" SSs to .1350" and .1500" respectively. Granted, I just took a file to the sides of their sight notches until they "looked about right", hence the difference. Anyway, off to the bench this afternoon for my first field test your new product.

I have a .327 blue half-lug GP100 that might benefit from this rear sight with the front bead. I ordered standard height and width. I couldn't decide exactly what sight to try so I went with the standard. I figure this is the first of many of these sights. And yes, I'll post a picture when it is installed. I hope it shows up tomorrow, I only get mail delivery three days a week.

Shooting update
I ordered 2 #3 std. height sights for my two 4 5/8" .32 H&R single sixes, each with Fermin's bead front sight. Put the std. height blade on ss#1 and it shot 3" high at 25 yards with the rear cranked all the way down. load is 125gr swc going about 950fps. Took the blade off of #1 SS and installed it on #2 SS. Same result, except #2 shot 4.5" high with the sight cranked all the way down; same load. Talked to Ronnie and he suggested the Low profile .340" sight blade. Two of those are on the way. Hope this helps someone avoid any confusion or trouble. More info in when the .340" blades arrive.

Yep. I asked for one of these for the flattop and quite a few SB/SBH that happen to also be wearing your frames. Thanks for getting this done.

Still waiting for the sight to arrive. I think the mail service between Texas and Colorado is a slowest in the union.

Sounds like the mail delivery here in the Alleghenies. We get our mail at the PO and the guy who works there often apologizes for the lack of mail or tells you how many pieces of mail they got on a given day. Yesterday was really a low volume day as the only thing in the mail was the weekly newspaper. Hopefully our shorter batch of the FG/RW sight blades arrives today.

Hey Guys, Ronnie Here. Been a Rear sight and Hammer machining fest here the last couple of weeks. Everything and all orders that have been placed are now in route as of this morn. Sorry about the delays. Just trying to get a handle on this and have enough of the popular versions on the shelf from here on out. As Fermdawgie stated we had no idea which ones would be the most popular. We speculated but we were wrong. Hahaha. I think we got a pretty good handle on it now. R
