Yeah, I like the phrase too, black tie BBQ, it's just the thought of, idea, pic in my head. Admit some of those combos could easily step up to that idea. I couldn't.

sheep horn grips!!! And matching knife to boot. Who made them?? Grips are HoMade with some desert Big Horn but the knife was Bark River. I work with retired mounts when I can get them, so the horn is VERY dry. As such it gets large internal shrinkage cracks making sizing very difficult. I really wanted these pieces on a Blackhawk, just couldn't stretch them enough. That also means I have to work close to the surface leaving lots of bark that some are not fond of. Here is some more of it on a Bearcat , and some more bearcats with bone and antler. Big Horn and a Browning folder Dog (chew) bone grips and a parker lockhorn knife. Elk and a Linder knife.

What a great combo. And I like the comment Black Tie BBQ Robster, my grips were fit by Andy Horvath but started as a poorly fit set I got cheap on Facebook. He got them looking real nice. Thanks.

Needsmostuff, the Linder and Black Micarta Rigid are some very nice simple basic design knives. I do like simple business like design, I find beauty in simplistic function with no wasted effort or flashiness. The SS 44spec with the Rigid speaks of that as well. Kim, that oak leaf pattern on the holster speaks to me as well, is it a Barranti?? Trapr
