Thank You to Doug for putting my pic up. The knife a new CASExx Westline. Named for the Inn and area we like in the northern Allegheny Forest. An employee there, also works at CASE, which is just 20 minutes north in Bradford Penn.. The Westline was announced last year but delayed deliveries. I got mine from the employee about a month ago. They just popped up on CASE's own site, and BladeHQ a few days ago. CASE's 1st assisted opening knife. They were waiting for the just changed knife laws in Penn to go thru. It did. CASE had been saying for many months, "coming in spring", BladeHQ was taking pre-order deposits.

Now that’s some engraving I can get behind, very nice. Is that a hamon on the bowie? Or sandwiched carbon steel core?

Prof,…..as I kid seeing the ads in magazines of the Puma White Hunter, I always thought that it was the coolest neatest knife around. Why I still don’t own one I cannot say.

I've never collected fine knives but do have some decent stuff I've picked up at flea markets in my life. My friend gave me this old Puma white hunter a while back. I've never had much given to me. So I cherish it. I have a Puma skinner from the early 60’s that belonged to my Dad. It was his main skinning knife for many years. Handle looks about like yours. The story is my Mom bought it for my dad the first year they were married, gave $14 for it in the five and dime store😳 The sheath is in rough shape from being carried all those years. I need to find someone that can build me a new one. Anyway nice setup you have there Chance.

O Man , I like knife and gun matches . I try to get handle material as close as possible. Can't get perfect but somehow it just makes the world balance a little better. This is a mod. 24-4 and an old Parker knife. And a Ruger and a cable damascus knife. For simple wood there is my 30 carb. and a big ole knife.

Great stuff, one and all! Here is a pair from the early '90s. And these three were all made in 1979: S&W, Camillus, Fight'n Rooster.
