So I called Reeder. Had a very pleasant conversation. I know he gets mixed reviews and I personally don't like his art work on his guns. Anyway he took his time and explained the cartridge and was very helpful. You do have to send in the whole gun. He said with his current work load just a rechamber on the gun he could have it in and out in 3-4 weeks. This is what he told me previously.

Gary has to have the gun to test fire it afterwards.

If you want a gun from Reeder, he will leave off the engraving if you ask. All of mine are just plain Jane.

I have a couple with decorations, and a few just plain from Reeders. My most carried lightweight 45 octagon from reeder.

It’s on there, just camouflaged in the bison hide. It’s z freedom arms style block with set Allen, currently wearing a gold bead front

That as a 30cal would be interesting in your 30carb. Ruger. Trapr You need to look at the 300 GNR... Think the same concept on a cut down 30-30 case in a rechambered 30 Carbine Blackhawk Gary has dies and loading data for it too!

The 300GNR is much like the 30Herrett it seems

An improved Herrett... Lee made one too... Better configured for the revolver cylinder.

Had one of those as well, though I still have my 356. Sold it to Alcorn Russel. Pretty neat gun and cartridge.
