I was curious if anyone could help with how they are trimming their 356gnr brass?

My neighbor, Jon Thomsen brought his 356 Reeder over one time & left it & the dies for me to give it a test drive. Very nice gun & you can hit some impressive velocities with those things. As mentioned, it would be an easy replacement for a 357 Maximum.

Why would you need to trim brass?

I was curious if anyone could help with how they are trimming their 356gnr brass? No trimming required. Simply run a 41 magnum case into the size die and you’re finished.

I took a Rolling Block 356 GNR to Africa in 2018. Killed a huge Impala at 122 yards using the 180 grn XTP. Also, have a 12" Contender so chambered. Very good cartridge and outperforms what the eye appeal tells us it will. I’ll bet the heavier bullets in a longer barrel of your rifle would really build some steam. That’s. Perfect fit for 180 or 200 grain bullets.

Does anyone have a mid frame Blackhawk in 356gnr? Interested in this also. I have a Flattop Stainless convertible I want to have a 356 GNR cylinder made for it.

That 50th Anniversary flat top by David Clements would be a perfect place for one of these cylinders.

The gun has been through David’s shop for action work, sights., base pin etc and Turnbull for coloring and Paul Persinger for grips but it is still a .357 which is something I have no interest in.

I know it is but I just skipped over it and went head over heels for the 41 even though I killed my first couple of deer with a 38 Special and a 357 Python. Just does not float my boat.

Any idea how much the 356 GNR dies are running ? $145 is regular price. Gary runs them on sale occasionally.
