I'm not going to lie. I'm really envious! That stainless Nimrod has been my dream revolver since I first read John Linebaugh's writings in 1997. In my very unqualified opinion, the Nimrods are the most handsome, practical, purposeful looking revolvers ever. And in .45 Colt, what more could a man want? YEP

45man had what was probably the ultimate one of these. 5 shot 45 Nimrod style TLA #5 gun! Well, unfortunately I haven’t been able to find that gun so I’ll have to settle…… Besides, I seriously dislike the #5 grip frame……

That gun lives in one of the Carolina’s along with many other TLA guns that used to live in Oregon.

How do TLA’s migrate? One of mine just arrived in Texas.

They get bored with their caregiver and ask to move.

I thought Henry still owned it. That surprises me that he sold it.

Surprised me it wasn't in Oregon! I was gonna buy it, but if I remember correctly, bid was north of 6k. It was neat but had some issues.

I’m TLA free right now except for one of the original holsters. I even sent all my literature, magazines and paperwork to Henry a month or so ago.

Nice walnut grips by Joe Perkins. I had never really paid much attention to Mr. Perkins' grips before but they're damned nice. Not only some very nice grips often including inlay. He is also a very capable revolver smith. He has rebuilt two old Colt single actions for me including welding and recutting hammer notches and retiming and such. They were junk transformed into wonderful shooters plus very affordable. You would not be disappointed with whatever he does for you. He does not build customs but does keep a lot of CASS shooters shootin.

No need for another field gun as the five shot 45 Colt covers it all and you will be packin in style with your two big bores.... They can do everything needed............. Went to the range Friday and made this six shot 25 yard group with my Ruger six shot Bisley with 260gr partition over 22.0grs IMR-4227.. And that was with a FA`s f/o front.... Five or six shot 45 Colts are all purpose handguns...PS- With my eyes, this group is amazing
