These will all come with the plunger, spring and cross pin so you can just dropem in. However the term drop in gets used loosely. Alot of the developement done here was to find a happy medium for loose and well worn pawls and triggers to the very tight. These will require a tickle on the lower leg of the pawl arm if your gun is very tight and well timed. if it is worn , loose and sloppy, Probably not. I opted to move things around and have done so to make it as close to perfection for all of you. It is easy to tickle the lower leg of the pawl arm because the cylinder is locking into battery before cocking than to have to add material to the leg if it cocks before complete follow up. Over 30 revolvers have been used to make these and 1 out of every 3 we had to give a couple of swipes to the lower pawl leg because it was locking before cocking. That means that if we would have not moved the sear location, 2 out of every 3 would not have carried up the cylinder far enough before cocking. Hope that did not offend anyone because i know a lot of you on here are very aware of timing issues, but then there are some who are not and this might help in explaining how much BS i went through here to make myself feel a little better about taking so long HAHAHAHA. Material issues have always been a problem but i have found the best 4140 i have ever worked with. The Hardness is comming out spot on and we are finishing up the process for case coloring these with Bobby Tyler, And we are almost their. Here is what we have them looking like right now. I tried several dozen ways to do this like rearanging the pawl arm location for more travel but found just making the sear section of the hammer .010 thousands longer was the ticket.

Getting these to look sweepy from front to back on the spur was more a matter of preferance for me. I thought it would look more elegant and streamlined if it tapered off a smidge. But we will see what kind of reaction yall present. The curve and serations were tried a hundred different ways as well and we came to the conclusion that a straight cross cut seration that tended to lean a little forward works best. I doesnt tear your skin off, but it does grip better under sweaty conditions. The diamond patterns look cool but if you have tough skin like i do, it is just to slippery. But time will tell. Hang in there guys we are almost there. Once i get you preorder fellas taken care of here in the next week or two, i will open them up on our site for good. The Ruger old armys are almost ready and i will be posting them shortly. Both stainless and Carbon Steel. Then i will finish the Colt first and second gen replacement hammers as well as a couple that i am very proud of. Freedom Arms 83 and 97 kits that includ a Hammer , Trigger And a Bisley style 17-4 Stainless grip frame. The New Model Bisley replacements are almost ready to produce as well. Single six and Standard BH. Sorry for the late post but as you can see, i have been a busy little Beaver. R PS: Just in case: i wanted to mention that me and Fermin have been working on these darn rear sights since 2019. Man i was glad to finnally get the bugs worked out on that one. I learned a lot of valuable lessons on both of these projects but tenacity and my all Out, Full Tilt All American Get Down And Boogie attitude and Pure Stubborness wont leave me alone. LOL

Now for the BFR'S! Wide spur sbh style and a Bisley to match a stainless BB5 frame without all the sharp edges and of course wide and bisley triggers.
Heck, how about a whole stainless Maxi?

Having spoken to Ronnie recently,, and receiving a picture of these new hammers was SUPER exciting.
His approach to figuring out the little details that make stuff as close to perfect is why so many of us are more than happy with his dedication & work in such a HARD venture.
KUDOS Ronnie!

Ronnie, do you foresee Turnbull’s having any issues with their CCH with these hammers? I have the greatest respect for Bobby Tyler and his shop’s abilities, but I much prefer Turnbull’s CCH, (as do a lot of folks). I would think such would be old hat for them, but I figured I’d check with you to be sure.

Well hot dang! I am ready for one of the OM SS Bisley's with a hump for my long-planned .257 Jackrabbit with a #5 grip frame. I will have to dust it off and start working on it again this winter and get it finished-up.
Will these be available in-the-white? This one in particular as I am rust bluing the balance of this project to a finished brown color without any "black" bluing or CCH.
Looking forward to the email from you Ronnie.

I would think such would be old hat for them, but I figured I’d check with you to be sure. Just had someone suggest to me that I should not have expressed my “preference” for Turnbulls, over Bobby Tyler’s CCH here on the forum, as I might hurt some feelings no matter how how tactful I might have been about it. Well, I don’t really don’t know how to respond to that. I sure did not mean to hurt anyone’s feelings, bottom line, or anything else. I just like what I like, as does everyone else around here. If my comment was somehow out of line, I apologize, and I’ll try keep my opinions about such things to myself, and try not to “step in it” anymore.
