Impossible to pick just one. But I do have some I will never part with. 4 inch S&W Model 13, this was a plant security guards gun, and the most accurate K frame 357 I've ever shot These are my N frame 357s. The two on the left are a 3 1/2 inch hard chromed pre 27, and a 5 inch 27-2. Those two will be in my will. My single actions have always been big bores, mostly 44s. I've just recently gotten into single action 357s and haven't shot them enough to have any favorites there. I've surprised myself with how well I can shoot this little boomer too, although I very rarely shoot 357s in it. Model 640

My favorite .357 Magnum is a S&W K frame. Whether it is a 13, 19, 65, 66, doesn't really matter. Currently I only have a 19-3, 19-4 both with 4 inch barrels, an unfired NIB 19-5 with 6 inch barrel, a 66-1, 66-2 both with 2.5 inch barrels, 66-2 with 4 inch barrel, and a 66-1 with 6 inch barrel. I am a sucker for a K frame Magnum, I did have a model 65-3 but a friend wanted it real bad along with a 19-2 and a 66-5 so I let them go down the road. I think the K frame magnums are some of the best fitted, handling, and accurate service revolvers ever produced by S&W. I know I am biased but it's only my opinion.

Shooting water jugs two days ago, a fifty year old Model 19 got to have its say. The gun has seen a few rounds. Perhaps on its first trip back to the factory, service milled & drilled the Baughman ramp to mold the M-29 red insert. Somewhere down the road S&W set back to barrel years ago to remove barrel face erosion. During one or another visit to the factory, various innards replaced. Factory replaced the gas ring. Then, later, factory guru Al Plaas replaced cylinder. Chamber-to-bore alignment does not exceed .002-inch runout----more proof a manufacturer doesn’t need “line boring” to achieve tight chamber alignment. Lest anyone think servicing listed above shows hypochondriac behavior in a gun, this Model 19 has not once failed in the field. It has worn a LIGHT REBOUND SPRING since the early 1970’s; there are no non-factory parts. Two days ago provided another acid test for double action function, with perfect DA RESET on the trigger with insulated deerskin gloves. Many born in the years since this sixgun was made would call the Model 19 an antique. Put against this M-19 two days ago----or yesterday or today----their plastic guns with funny “safety” devices on the trigger would fail to fire. Why? Because the gloved finger would pull the trigger without depressing the safety tab, locking the trigger. During yon shooting, the M-19 strode through Federal 125 JHP .357 Mag and cast 160 SWC .38 Special. Doing what it always does, SHOOT. Hell, even a digital camera freezes in this weather. Just dawned on me I haven't provided a pic for this thread. This is a Clement Custom Guns conversion from 38 to 357 with an action tune. It's a well balanced handful and is accurate and it's a constant companion in the woods. It's also my Avatar. Had this built when Ruger swore to High Heaven they would never build a 3" full lug 357 with adjustable sights. Two months after it hit Clements shop, Ruger began producing a 3" 357 Full Lug GP. Never say never. It's a nice 357. It weighs 36 ozs.

I have a SP101 1.75 or so inch barrel with CT laser Grips that I adore to no end. Disappears in a jacket pocket and I can handle full power 158 grain JHP's easily.

My favorite 357 magnum is this 1956 Ruger flattop. I just picked up a 1956 flat top (SN 17xx), but it arrived sans cylinder, ejector rod and ejector rod housing!
