Quote, "Oooohhhh, one of those Jr. Bisley grip frames is destined for my Single 7."
I sold off a Harton 327 Single Six because I think they look very mis-pro-portioned. Didn't need to see that post.

Guys get your grip frames from Ronnie, just received mine today, a little sanding and polishing and it becomes a work of art, absolutely beautiful, this is the way this blackhawk 41 was supposed to be, Ronnie will be posting a picture for me soon, something to drool over. Thanks Ronnie, couldn't be happier. Thank you Buddy Looking good!

Of all the various combinations that one can dream up in mating the grip frame of one manufacturer to the cylinder frame of another, the one that interests me the most would be a Ruger Bisley grip frame on a Freedom Arms Model 97.
I've never heard of a sixgun called "perfect" more often while simultaneously being called difficult to shoot "because of the grip" than the M97.
Were a Ruger Bisley offered for it, I for one would put it at the top of my list of guns to aquire. The only question at that point would be 44 Special, or 45 Colt?
Ronnie, you've got me hoping that I'll have to struggle with that question in the not too distant future...

X2 on the Model 97 Bisley Grip Frame. I'd be in for several.

This is an FA Model 97 with a Bowen-modified grip frame. It is very Colt SAA-like and much more to my liking than the factory grip frame. Tim

I don't know if it was covered in the past seven pages, but I'm curious about the different #5's. The original Keith shape and the other one. I can see the difference in them, but I'm wondering where the shape/sizes came from. If the "original" one was an attempt to visually copy the real #5, where'd the other one come from?
My only hands on with a #5 style grip was a TLA and I though it was great.

Just got back from another range session with my newly grip framed blackhawk 41, it just feels better, I like the little extra weight in my hands. I can't express enough how much I love this brass, I had given up on finding one, then came RW grip frames. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now thinking about getting a blackhawk in 30 carbine, just so I can put brass on it.
