Hey Foxtrapper If you want to put an old model Bisley together, and by the way i did not have a clue unril recently that clements was offering a trigger a hammer combo for using new model grip frames on OMs! Great idea! But i dont know how available they are. I basically used Power Custom stuff because it was available and a fantastic piece of workmanship! I make an Old Model Bisley for use with the original Ham and Trig assembly, wide or narrow trigger. The trigger guard comes in two forms when you order it. Standard Black Hawk Trigger Guard or Semi Bisley. The semi bisley Trigger Guard is a bit more rounded than the BH. Then i use as follows.
POWER CUSTOM Old Model 3 Screw Hammer
$140.00
Power custom Old Model Bisley™ Hammer for Ruger® Single Action 3 Screw Guns in the White. If you want it Blued you will need to blue it. Also, the Spring and Plunger are sold separtly. Replaces your 3 Screw Hammer to a Bisley™ Style with a lower hammer spur to aid in cocking the hammer back.
Old Model 3 Screw Trigger (Narrow) and (Wide) $40.00
Power Custom three-screw Narrow and wide Trigger for Ruger® Single Action. Machined steel replacement for factory trigger has extra metal in the right places to resist breakage. Sear contact surface and other contact areas are over sized to allow gunsmith fitting for a tight action, smooth pull, and crisp let off. Uses existing sear and spring. Constructed of heat-treated carbon steel, blued finish.
Well Dam photobucket is down. Let me see if i can put a picture of one on a OM on our site. Be back with you shortly! Ronnie

Ok Go to RWGripframes, com and look at the Standard Bisley Old Model. Choose the drop down in grip frame options. The bottom drop down is Example Semi Bisley TG OM. And you will see an Old Model with A Bisley, Semi Bisley Trigger guard with a PC Bisley Hammer and a narrow trigger! Hope that Helps. Ronnie

These frames look sharp, I've been lurking around this forum for a year or so and have been interested in a brass frame but the original Ruger brass frames are pricey and the fit may not be right. The RW Frames are quite a value it seems and should be an excellent fit. Like I said I lurked around here but have gained a lot of knowledge but if I live for 100 more years I wouldn't know everything. I have kept up to date on the frames by reading all the threads pertaining to them. One of these days I'll get one but having two daughters money gets tight sometimes. 😂

New member here, I read a post by Lee Martin on another forum about Ronnie's grip frames, he had a link to single -actions , and here I am. I've been looking for a brass grip frame for my blackhawk 41 mag for quite some time, thanks Lee for the post on the ruger forum. I contacted Ronnie through email, and he called me back, on a Sunday too. Ordered the grip I wanted, and it should be here tomorrow. He was very cool to talk to, thanks for a great experience.

A FA 97 birds head would be perfect for a short barreled packing revolver.
Are you looking at stainless or aluminum for the FA grip frame?
