That looks gorgeous!
I had the awesome opportunity to talk to the man himself today and it was an honor and privilege. He’s got some super sweet things that’ll be coming out of his shop soon and it’s really cool to keep up with all these builds.

I left a message for RW Grip Frames yesterday morning, hoping to get a little info on their BFR grip frame project. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call back from Ronnie a short while later. What a great guy! I think he was driving and calling on a cell phone, but we spoke quite a while and he was friendly and knowledgeable to the extreme. I'm only a few hours away from him and plan to visit as the project progresses. Being new to this site, I wasn't aware of him or his business, but now understand why y'all are such fans of his. His knowledge and skills are a real blessing for this niche hobby we have. I can't wait to see what an RW enhanced BFR is like! And, thanks Ronnie for a very enjoyable conversation.

Well I ordered my Dealer for use with a Blackhawk trigger. Getting aluminum in order to keep the gun light. Looking forward to fitting it.

It's been since April. Yet I've not received my brass frame.... Is there somewhat of a problem? Ronnie

I'm still waiting for bisley grip frame for the Freedom Arms M83, the version from Mr. Bradshaw would be fine. ;-)

Hey guys, please be patient, you will get your grip frames, Ronnie is a 2 man operation, and has plenty of irons in the fire, remember there is a material shortage in this country for just about everything, I know it's hard to wait for something this awesome, but it will come. I waited some time for mine too, but complaining will not put a rush on it, so please be patient, Ronnie called me last night, and said he finally got some brass in , and is getting busy making grip frames as we speak, he is well aware of his orders and customers, not trying to be rude, but your wait will be worth it, these things don't just zip themselves out in a matter of minutes, each frame goes through somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-70 individual cuts, we're talking about precision here, and that takes time, he doesn't have a warehouse full of these things, trust me, they will come.

It's been since April. Yet I've not received my brass frame.... Is there somewhat of a problem? Ronnie Absolutely there is a major problem. And thanks for asking Steve! Great time to explain to all that are waiting to hang in there. By the way it was great talking with you this morning. All of us have experienced shortages and price Galging like never before. I have received brass that was unusable and had to exchange it for straight material. The price has almost doubled and delivery's have been horrible. And yes the global excuse is CORONA! Pisses me off to no end but I'm dealing with it. Last year i waited from November to the end of January for material. I ran out in April and just now got another shipment. Always playing catch up, however it has given me the time i needed to bug out the hammers and triggers which are finally going a little smoother. For those of you waiting on a frame they are being finished now and will ship shortly. Thank you for your patience. For clarification, those of you who are waiting for freedom arms grip frames. They have not been commissioned yet because it will do no good to have a Bisley grip frame for an 83 with out having a hammer and trigger available. I am working on it however only ten things at a time. Hahahaha. Rugers first and get these orders filled. I will get to the stainless and the carbon steel in good time but as I'm sure you know, this has been a real tough undertaking. To my knowledge no one has ever gone this far on grip frames and I'm not stopping now. The building of the hammers has given me a better idea on what to expect for grip frames in Stainless and carbon steels manufacturing process and believe you me. It is even more time consuming and is much harder on tooling. Therefore changing the process immensely! R

Thanks for the kind words Trent, You are a real pal man! And one hell of a good metal and wood worker! Absolutely guys, if you have a question please call. No body is hounding suppliers more than me right now. Im tired of the BS excuses. Hopefully we can get back to something normal her soon. I have allready put in my next brass order, so hopefully i wont run out again. By the way, good call. Standard Bisley both sides combined has 86 cutting processes in 3 axis plane and an additional 33 in the 4th! The steel is going to be even worse. R

No rush from me. I understand completely. Part of my job is purchasing for a plumbing and electrical wholesaler. There are shortages of material all throughout the industry. I still have backorders from 2020. Looking forward to fitting the frame but patiently waiting. Glad I waited till the dealer frame came to light. That looks like perfection. Keep up the good work.

And yes the global excuse is CORONA! Ronnie, I hear you loud and clear. So many "service" companies won't accept new business now. One honest vendor said he can't find employees. In many places, they're still getting paid to sit on the couch and watch "Days of Our Lives."

No matter how long it takes to get your frames, IT’S WORTH THE WAIT!
