Nice project. Thanks for the photo essay. IMHO, needs a rear sight that matches the rest of the build, tho.

Outstanding work by Zane. Sheep horn grip panels on Single Action Revolvers, really set them off! Who sells the blank horn panels. Rick

Thanks to the guys that let me know about the 22 CCM cases for sale on Cast Boolits... I bought 500 new unfired cases, & a 2nd ( this one RCBS ) set of dies, & a couple shell holders... also bought a NOS box of the last run from Fiocchi of Velo-dog cartridges on Gun Broker this last week... that's going to give me 800 - 1000 of the Fiocchi cases, which will be dedicated to this Single Six... the converted cases from Quality Cartridge, will be dedicated to the stainless double action, as that has slightly bigger chambers ( or this single action has tighter chambers, either way, the Quality Cartridge brass isn't sized small enough at the web to go into the Single Action by a .001" or so... but go into the stainless gun fine, & this way those don't have to find their way into the lathe ) also a couple months ago, Arms Corp was dumping inventory on their 22 TCM brass & bullets, & I bought 5000 of the 22 jacketed soft point TCM bullets which look like they are also the perfect bullet for the CCM... so I'll be doing quite a bit of 22 CCM reloading in the coming months

Have you looked at the Speer .22 40gr bullet? I've used that and the 35gr VMAX for the hornet. They might fit the bill for a better supply of bullets.

Received 570 22 Cooper Centerfire Magnum cases today turns out they were not new / unfired, but likely once fired and decent looking, that I bought from a member over on Cast Boolits ( a big thanks to the guys here, that pointed me in that direction ) I've not seen these cases before... I'm no expert, but I do have 3 different "types" of this case... I assumed they were likely the Fiocchi Velo-Dog cases like Reeds ammo sold up to a few years ago, before the supply dried up... but these cases have no headstamps, so they are not the Fiocchi cases... & they are a drawn case, not formed from another case, like the ones Quality Cartridge sold for a couple years, until that source dried up... these have most all been fired, as they have a spent primer in most of them... a very few look unfired, but all look in exceptional condition... I can't wait to knock the primers out, & wet tumble them, & try the RCBS dies out to compare to my CH4D dies... the dies also came with a regular & Lee hand prime type shell holder... I'm like a kid at Christmas this morning

I remembered you had mentioned this cartridge and I was looking at copying at least the look of your Single Six. If it had been a normalish cartridge it wouldn't have stuck in the noodle (well and your revolver). Seems a few others peruse many forums (I recognize some of the same names) and remembered too.
Strange that there's no headstamp. Do they fit?

Fit perfect... as I knocked out a couple 100 primers, I noticed that the flash holes have also been uniformed and deburred

Not really familar with the cartridge so I'm curious what the brass life will be like. What kind of velocity are you expecting? What powders are appropriate?
