Thats good news 😉 I know water leaks are a pain to contend with but things could of been much worse with this storm...... I was up several times last couple mights checking radars and news sites. My little brother lives up on the gulf coast. He was in Houston cleaning up for his company when he got the call to high tail it home fast last week. I hope everyone affected by harvey and irma can get back to their normal times soon.

I got the same text, Fermin. I can post a few pictures. It looks like the leaks (x3) are in the garage, and Paul said they were going to put a new roof on there anyway so not too bad all around. He sent me a video clip and the wind is still blowing and they expected another blast of wind gusts to come through in awhile. Paul really prepared for this. Notice how the plywood is measured correctly for a perfect fit to the windows. No slap it and screw it on application here, brothers. He also made his own sand bags and placed them strategically around to house, and dug ditches, to direct any water away from the house. As stated in Fermin's post, they are running on the generator now with the refrigerator and some lights plugged in. I imagine now it's time for waffles??

Glad Paul's doing well. My family a bit further north in Ocala came through alright. No damage to my uncles house, one tree down in the yard from the neighbors lot. Storm hit at 2am and lasted till 6am. Power didn't go out till after the storm about 9am. They haven't been to my grandmas house a few miles away yet winds still a bit to gusty to be driving in if its not an emergency.

Lil Sis in Charleston area has it worse than Tampa area family. Her place on Mt Pleasant pretty much an island. Bridges closed and roads blocked in every direction. Many home flooded. Hotel we stay at on Shem Creek flooded. She was lucky to be outta power only a couple of hours last eve..

Message from Paul saying he's been working hard, going on 4 hours sleep in the last 36. Amazing job by everyone on cleanup, and Paul got the good news that their power was restored.... says he needs a shower and not even his dog will come near him. Ufff! Here's atrack I ran across while listening to music this morning/afternoon. Hurricane Angel by Ellis Paul www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8as2hGSh5I
