That's a neat cartridge Lee. Do you just use a modified 30-30 sizing die? And do you make your own seating die? Joe - no, we made a complete set of reamers for the .375 Atomic. The rougher cut a FL sizer that is matched to the finisher. Specifically, the base and mid-section are sized only around a thousandth. The neck is squeezed a little more to aid bullet release. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Thanks. Plentiful, cheap brass. Gotta love it.

It's been awhile since I spent time at the 50 or 100 yard line with a SA revolver, I've been shooting mostly DA revolvers as of late. I took 100 rounds of 500 JRH out with me today to shoot in a Clements Bisquero. It was a mix of 10.0 gr Trail Boss to warm up and 17.0 gr Longshot for the longer range stuff, both with a 335 gr Rainier HP. Best I could manage was 4/5 on an 18"x24" target at 100 yards. One of those impacts was left over from the last time I painted, not sure which one though. I was switching up between targets at 10, 25, and 100 yards to figure out my holds. I'll load up more ammo and try again next week. I really like shooting the big plate as it's easier to figure out where to hold or adjust the sights from the firing line. I don't have a spotting scope. Once I get a bit more comfortable I'll start shooting the 12" round plates again, probably staggered at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards.

From a newby here - thanks to y'all for the inspiration, information, and the advice - such as this is great for a guy just starting out. "draw your focus back to the from sight, mindful of its place in the rear notch. An obscure target tries to pull your focus downrange----lethal to accuracy" - is just one example! Yes, I like the pictures of your revolvers (don't stop showing them!) and my focus is/was primarily hunting deer and turkey, but the advice here is invaluable - for any kind of shooting.

From a few weeks back: 5-shots, 100 yards bench rested Martin conversion - .500 Linebaugh Bullet - 505 gr Martin LFN Powder – 26.0 H110 Brass - Starline Primer - CCI 350 Velocity – 1,210 fps Hold – front blade touching the top of the plate. Sighted 3” high at 50 yards The group measured just under six inches. I’ve been mostly shooting rifle this year. The gun can do better. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Outstanding work Mr. Martin Actually that’s about standard work for Lee. That’s not to say it isn’t exceptional amongst us mere mortals but still...

Takes 3 things to do that. A fine gun, a fine load & a fine shooter! Put all 3 together & that's what you can get. Very impressive!

Once again Lee sets the bar at Olympic gold medal heights. Just bakes my brain like one of Dick’s Dutch ovens to see any of Lee’s posts. Whether it be 100 yard iron sight targets or a documented build. Proves that patience, perseverance and practice will get you a lot of luck. Great job Lee.

I think that Fermin is actually a "relay" shooter, first he runs 5 rounds down range at 50 yds but because his loads are so anemic he has to walk down there & gather them up, reload them & shoot the other 50 yds to get his 100 yd group. Works great & he's happy shooting those mild loads he's always bragging on. Kind of saves the wrists when the recoil of a heavy 327 magnum is rapping your knuckles........Yip, Yip! Yes I'm ready!
