This is the C engraved that Alex sold to me. He sold a bunch of the USFA and Turnbull guns that were done in the Carbona finish and some in different levels of engraving. I believe a company out of florida originally had the guns and went out of business.. Ten Ring ended up with A bunch and sold them all.

Yall are makin it tough on a guy that has no USFA's. Beautiful guns here. Thanks Joe. I've run out of time this morning but thanks for your comments... I've got plenty of USFA stories and all are mostly true.

Thanks, turns out I'd already posted one of these pictures on the first page. This thread has been going for so long I forgot posting them.

I snagged one of those bisley spurred guns and it is undergoing some pretty extensive surgery out in TN. Should be done sometime later this year if it all works out okay.

If it turns out like we hope, it should look like the light weight gun with the #5 base pin on Hamiltons website only with carved steerhead ivory grips. I could not talk Dan Love into dong the engraving so it is going to a gentleman in OH for the scratching.

Yeah, I was in touch with Dan a couple years ago. He was working on his own gun design.
Wonder what happened to it.
I (as I'm sure others) passed on the birdshead hammers when Alex had a bunch of them.
Just goes to show what happens sometimes if you wait too long.
I'll have one of those lightweights some day.

NICE guns Mike... I had a chance to buy a used FTT 5.5"/.45 Colt not too long before USFA closed up shop and passed as I am not much of a .45 Colt guy. If it had been a .44 Special I would would have grabbed it. Now looking back I wish I had and then had it converted to .41 Special like the Shooting Master I had done...
...stupid.

I have a Shooting Master, who did the conversion to 41 Special? of which I have two by Bowen.
