With CraigC's picture of his beautiful ivory stocked USFA I started looking for a USFA picture thread and couldn't find one. I wonder if you guys could help me out. I always thought it was a very sad day when they closed their doors.
Rodeos, Bisley's, Nettleton's, and everything in between. Just no Zip Guns, it's too painful...
My brother just bought his first one, a 7.5 inch wood stocked 44 special (marked "44 Russian and S&W Special" if JT reads this) and I promise to chime back in later to post a picture once it's received.

I'll start but even with the four I've got, I'll cry when bushog posts his array of Bisley Flat-top Target models. My first was this early USPFA that apparently, has never had its picture taken by itself. Second was a blued 12/22 that has since been fitted with one-piece walnut. The third was this .38Spl Rodeo II that has since been fitted with ivory polymer. Pre-war .44Spl

This thread is a great idea! I've drooled over a couple USFA's at Cabela's recently, too bad they want $3k each! (don't know the caliber)

Thanks Boge! I have a number of others I bought from the factory over the years, but in retrospect they're all the same. I really like the variety you have managed to assemble.

In the words of Bobby Bowden, "dadgummit" Boge. That is a seriously fine collection of USFAs, especially the Bisley Flattop. I was talking with USFA about ordering one about the time they closed up shop, and went with a Gallagher-custom Ruger Bisley instead. Hoping to go to auction next year for an authentic Colt Bisley, but in the meantime, I can drool over your USFA

When I first started hearing persistent rumors about USFA shutting down production, I started snapping up all I could while the gettin' was good. Even so, it took a couple of years, some help from a close pal, and a pile of greenbacks to land that Bisley Target. Same deal with the Omni Snubnose - I looked for one of those for about seven years, finally talked a friend and brother into trading me the only one I have ever seen.
The Shootist 44 Special is, for obvious reasons, one of my most treasured sixguns.
