lee, you should do it in .41 mag. that way you can write up another heavy bullets in the .41 mag. would be curious to see how much more performance could be gained out of a 10-12 inch barrel over the 5 inch barrel you tested before.

It was unfired when I bought it three years ago, and remains so until this day. I have been hoping to have Brother Taffin do the honors at a Shootist Holiday, if he is able to make it one of these years.

Well, brother Cable, sometimes you also post stuff that, as Murbach says, "makes my dobber quiver"!
That TLA was an exceptional find. I actually have four from the same collection, all color casehardened with wooden cases, and numbered in the same series (A333, A444, A555, A666, this one being A666): a Texas Border Special 45 (3-1/2" barrel with birdshead grip frame); a Texas Army (SAA-style) 45 with 5-1/2" barrel; a Texas Army 22 (EXTREMELY rare) with 5-1/2" barrel, cased along with the 45; and this one. Three years ago it seemed like I was paying a FORTUNE for them, but today they seem to have been priced VERY reasonably. God has been good to me!

Did Rugerever make a blackhawk in 41 mag with a 10 1/2" barrel?
