This to include weld up and machining of the cylinder and grip frames to ensure exact transition of the radius. Cylinder BP chamfered by Harton Grips: Deep dark figured walnut by Harton

I agree 100%. Many #5 grip frame fits would have been unacceptable to Elmer.

This is an amazing thread and really deserves to be "pinned". I've shown this here before, It was overcast today so I snap a new pic of it. They don't all have to be full customs.............It shoots like a dream, I can easily spend an entire day plinking away with this sweetheart! Nice Steve! Here's one of my favorites. I picked it up pretty early on this cruise. Most have seen this gun before. This started out as a S&W barreled bisley that Bowen had listed as a shop example for sale on his website.I added a few options. Base Gun: Ruger Blackhawk Bisley Caliber: 5 shot 45 Colt Gunsmith: BCA Barrel: 5 1/2" S&W 29, re-bored Gripframe: Stock Bisley Grips: Bighorn sheep by Roy Fishpaw Hammer: Bisley Everything else: scalloped recoil shield and gate, Bowen RC rear sight

You had better include my in that timeshare!! Simply jaw dropping!! I have always liked and admired Single Actions with Smith barrels. Greg, when you first posted that one and Robb his Horvath 41..........I knew I had to have one.........It should be done in early spring.
