I can build you a custom blade that can easily be fitted to your original base. These start at 55 and can be cut to custom width or even have a brass bead threaded in place. You can call me directly and I will take your order personally. Fermin 361-960-3697

markwell Are you saying a standard 1911 cut rear sight will fit a drift adjustable Single Six? If so, that's some good news. I want a new rear sight for mine. You can probably make one work however the Ruger is a 60 degree dovetail and most 1911’s are a 65 degree dovetail.

I know I am responding to an old post, but is anyone (Fermin?) making rear sights/sight blades for the drift-adjustable Single Six? The standing blade that Gunny268 made for his SS would work just fine, as would Fermin's fancier rear sight prototype with allen screws for locking. Many thanks for any advice. God Bless, Marc I would need about 100 orders to make these rear sights.

Welcome. You ask about FA sights. When you order an FA sight from me, you are actually getting an FA sight and not a knock off. I make all the sights the factory does not offer. I use FA blanks and build sights to the quality of your FA revolver. I also have the FA bases which can be installed on any revolver. I also offer a custom rear blade for the Ruger factory rear sight. You can see them here: fermincgarza.com/shopYou can also call me directly for updated pictures and gunsmithing questions. Spoke with John this morning. It’s evident he’s still hurting but he’s on the recovery from his surgery. John wants to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Best!
