Since custom builders clearly open up that area when chambering for larger cartridges, I'm thinking to remove a small amount of material there and re-polish and blue. like some 320 wrapped around a dowel outghta let the rims clear on the way out. I think the caliber conversions are done on Old Model Single Sixes because there is not enough room in the loading gate area on New Models. My 32 mag can be finicky if I don't hold the cylinder in line with the loading gate, there's not much wiggle room.

I was very happy with my Lee Auto Prime but after the second one failed I purchased the RCBS Hand Priming Tool and have been generally satisfied with it. I recently acquired the RCBS Bench Priming Tool and have no complaints at all, although I still use my Hand Priming Tool for small batches of rifle ammo.

Stock, unmolested bikes of that vintage are hard to come by on the cheap. Are they fun to ride, sure, as long as you take them for what they are. I have a 1980 FLH, that bike's basic chassis was introduced in 1958. These bikes were never meant to be ridden at modern highway speeds but for back roads they are near perfect.
As far as maintenance, parts seem more available now than at almost any time in the past, the aftermarket provides good support. What is more important is having a good, independent bike shop that you can rely on for advice.
I haven't priced Shovels in a while, but they do come up for sale every so often.

Trapr
somewhere here on the forum there’s a picture of a grip frame with a slot milled down the butt end of the frame and a pin that goes across the slot. this allowed the use of a lanyard without risking a noisy ring or really changing the looks of the revolver.
Here's the lanyard slot on my Speed Six

Started out when I was 9 years old on one of these By 1981 I had my first Electraglide, a 1973. Which, eventually was replaced by a 1980 Electraglide (which I still have) But now I mainly ride my 2007 Electraglide

1.68 by my calculation which agrees with my experience with the Keith bullet in 41 mag.

I place the frame just forward of the trigger guard on the rest.

Those Raptor mounts look like they need one hole drilled to fit a Ruger single action correct? I don't know anything about mounting them, just looking at your mount, thanks. Dick The Raptor mount uses a single screw in the hole for the rear sight. Mine has been rock solid on my 41 mag Blackhawk.

I'll take a Raptor mount for the Ruger. Paypal on its way.

I USE 1 ON MY FA MODEL 97 IN 327, I LIKE IT. I'm thinking I may put it on my 32 mag Single Six.

The pen is pointing to where my 250's are contacting something. The Underwood 265 LNFP actually contact close to the case mouth be for contacting. But neither will close in my Contender barrel. The profile of your 250gr WFNPB is considerably different from my WFNGC.

My 250 gr cast performance bullets will not chamber. Is that normal for these barrels? My 41 mag barrel closes on a 250gr WFNGC
