I have seen 100s of pics of Robs beautiful holsters. But I honestly cannot remember a single one until squawberryman's thread showing anyone wearing one. And those pics are of shoulder rigs and poor pics on the hip.
I am very curious how these pancakes ride. I am quite particular about how my sidearms fit & feel and am very curious. Does anyone have any pics actually wearing these holsters?

I wear one just about every time I head to the woods. It is one of the most comfortable holsters I have ever worn.

He makes a great holster but you also need to check out his belts. He makes a real man's belt at a very good price. I wish I had ordered one years ago. A great product at an unusually good price!!

I don't have a picture of it but I wear it inside my waist band when ever I leave town. Hardly know it is there.

We need to support Simply Rugged. The owner is absolutely one of the most generous, patriotic, and genuinely good men I know. A true American, an employer of Americans, and a supporter of our military men and women!
If for no other reason than stated above, YOU should own a Simply Rugged holster!

I posted these pics in another thread but what the heck... I'll post em here again. My 4" 454 Redhawk lives in it. Sometimes I use the retention strap, sometimes I don't, mostly when using it crossdraw. I like having it. 99% of the time I carry it strongside and practically forget it's there. Here it is crossdraw on a separate belt so when I remove my backpack I still have the gun on me. Having lunch, dropped the backpack and the guns slides around nicely to the side. Crossdraw on my belt. The retention strap keeps it from falling out bending over. When wearing strongside the pancake holds the gun great. No need for the strap, I usually undo it and tuck it in so I can unholster the gun quickly onehanded. I'm wearing it in this pick strongside (right hand). When wearing this day pack, I wear the simply rugged on my belt and I have a cheap nylon holster on the pack belt. Since it's a pancake it squishes flat underneath the backpack belt with no problem. When I stop and take my pack off to pick berries with the wifey or have lunch or whatever, I stick the gun in the pancake. In bear country I ALWAYS have the gun on me. Had to throw this one in. Look closely and you can see it on my hip!

Happened to go through my holster box a day or two ago in prep for an upcoming gun show. I was not, mind you, dragging out any of my Simply Rugged holsters. That being said, er, written, I chanced to notice that there were somewhere over a dozen of Rob's holsters in the box, all used on a pretty regular basis.
I wear a sharkskin Silver Dollar virtually every day carrying a hammerless j-frame, and it is probably one of the most comfortable holsters I own. The others work equally as well. guess I will have to take a few pics to show 'em off, eh?

I've shown photo's of Rob's leather for years, started out with a pancake & then the Chesty Puller. The Pancake is 8-9 years old. I also have an inside the pants rig but its hard to photo when wearing it.

I like my Simply Rugged holsters and gear a lot, find all of it to be comfortable and practical, and wear it often. I'll own still more in the future. None of mine are Pancakes, but photos of some of those being worn are shown above in this thread.

Like 2Dogs wrote above, Simply Rugged is an American success story that we can and should support. Rob and Jan are people who put their beliefs to work, produce superior, well designed products, and support local and national causes.
I have 'a few' of his holsters and belts, and have been nothing but pleased and proud to own and use them. I have worn them strong side on and behind the hip, cross draw, inside and outside the waistband, on my shoulder, my stomach, my underarm, and always, with complete confidence, securely, and in comfort.

My gift to my son when he turned 2 years old. The belt has his name stamped across the back.

I am not picture litterate so can't supply a picture, but everytime I carry my G19 I also carry a Simply Rugged "Cuda" with the inside out straps. I like the way the holster stays where you put it on your belt & have discovered I really don't have to remove the inside out straps to wear my holster OWB, I just run my belt through the inside out strap on the rear of the holster then through the belt slot on the holster too. I position my belt loop on my pants between the slots on the holster, then run my belt through the front slot on the holster & through the inside out strap on the front of the holster. I like this holster a lot & use it a lot. If you buy one I believe you will like it. When I found I really didn't have to remove the inside out straps, I really tightened them down. This method works for me. Robs holster holds my gun tight enough that a safety strap isn't needed. Frank
