Will the slide work with a 1.75" belt, or are they limited to 1.5"? Looks like a handy rig, but my belts are all 1.75" heavy horsehide... We can build for a 1.75”. Just make a note in the Special Instruction box during checkout and we will take it from there!

Congrats on the move Doc, Im happy for you. What made you choose Dunn, if you mind me asking and you telling. The land, and proximity to a good friend. One of those ‘opportunity knocks’ kind of things….

I think all these posts are actually hinting at the fact that the posters are happy to see Doc move to Tx. I got the email myself,, and my first thought was; "Doc always looked like a displaced cowboy,, so this is quite logical." Kudos Doc! I know you'll find a LOT of good in Tx for y'all! I was thinking Doc probably gets lots of weird looks wearing a western hat in PA., and now he’ll look like a local. First step would be finding a good straw for summer time, cuz it so get HOT in the summer, April thru October Trapr I’ve got that covered already! I spend enough time in the southwest in the summer months that I have picked up a couple straw hats.

Dunn, TX! Not much there but that suits me! About a half hour west of Sweetwater. We will be back and forth for a while, first step is to get the shop built. A work in progress!!

I strongly urge those who've lost pics on this thread to the photobucket debacle to use imgur now and replace them so we can resurrect this one! Just resize the images under the edit tab to 1349 x 1012 and they'll fit perfect What holster is that? I don’t see it offered any longer. I think I used to call it the Scout. It was my re-creation of the old Lawrence 122.

Kim, mine did not come with a waist strap, that bit of info is news to me!!! Trapr Kim is referring to the optional Chest Strap. I will get one headed your way.

Hi Chance,
I’ve seen a few photos of the rig you’re describing and think it may have been a one off rig, as it had a monogram on the belt. The rig looked virtually unused, and likely never had a gun in the holster or cartridges in the loops.

That’s why a few of my brothers and I no longer build homes. You can’t compete with the crews that just slap them together and move on. I had a guy say to me once “dude, its just a house, not a piano!”. My response to that is a home is the single most expensive thing the average person will ever buy...it should be RIGHT.
Bill is lucky to have you for a friend and consultant!
