S.D. Myres leather Moth carving?

Hello. 

Anybody here collect vintage gun leather? Ive seen old Myres catalog image of a floral carved holster wit ha hummingbird moth carved alongside the flowers. I am wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these holsters in person? Was it just a catalog item, or actually an option to purchase? I appreciate any information or pics.

Hi Chance,

I’ve seen a few photos of the rig you’re describing and think it may have been a one off rig, as it had a monogram on the belt. The rig looked virtually unused, and likely never had a gun in the holster or cartridges in the loops.
