so I go early 2day to my FFL dealer to check my new Bud's purchase and fill out transfer docs.
1: there's no spent shell in the sealed box 2: it is not on the approved list
anywho?

I'd be that it has to do with a non SAAMI spec cartridge.

Mine came with a fired cartridge jammed in next to the cable lock in a little yellow envelope.
Can't help you with the Maryland approved list...

If there is not a yellow envelope you need to contact MRI.

If there is not a yellow envelope you need to contact MRI. +1 Not sure how they can provide a fired case without getting the gun back though.

It's nice to have a FFL Dealer thats open 7 days a week... My FFL dealer billed me $35 to test fire/supply case, but they need a round to fire and I can not find ammo..4sale

Jack Huntington has ammo available. You'll want some anyway, nice benchmark for reloading. 530-268-6877.

How many criminal cases have been solved in MD, simply because of the "fired case" rule..? Particularly if the firearm in question was a SA revolver, which does not broadcast its empties all over the scenery..? Sounds like the Maryland state house could benefit from an infusion of Real intelligence.. Why do the residents put up with such mindless clap-trap..?

If there is not a yellow envelope you need to contact MRI. That is my thought as well.

If there is not a yellow envelope you need to contact MRI. 9:30 AM here just got off the phone with MRI tech guy... OK well he stated it was a management decision not to send the spent shell to states that did not require it ...Bud's Guns is in Ky. ;D so I guess thats a state that does not require the case...
