Perfect.....just perfect. The wood is top notch and octagonal is hard to beat. And isn't Jack's Bisley treatment dead on? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Question: When the recessed case head custom Ruger 475 is built is it set up for the original 45-70 case head or the current small case head made so the 475 would fit into a FA?

Lee, I believe Jack is really on to something with what he does to the Bisley grip. I am looking forward to shooting it to see how it reacts to heavy loads. From what I read here and how it feels just pointing it, I think it's going to be great. I have a few other customs and FA's to compare it to, so it will be interesting. Mark, it started out as one of the Williams 45X Bisleys. Jack converted it to a 5 shot 475L, free spin, and all of the normal upgrades associated with a conversion of this sort. Ken O'Neill's front sight blade tops it off nicely.

Yep, that's the one I held when I was in Huntington's shop last week. As you can see, I wasn't lying when I said it was a beauty.

Hands down, prettiest JH gun I have seen--or at least one that aligns with my taste. Love it.

Yeah, that is truly a stunning piece of work! Every derail is purposeful and handsome. Ken's front sight and the checkered ejector rod head are excellent touches... Oh yeah, that crown too, awesome!
I'm kicking myself because I was only 5 miles from his shop this past Saturday but didn't know if his shop was open but was on-call for work so couldn't have stopped by anyway.
Very well done, sir!
